Acuity Hospital of Houston is accredited by the Joint Commission, the most nationally recognized healthcare standards-setting accrediting institutions. The Joint Commission requires key quality data be reported monthly and posted for each accredited facility on the Joint Commission Web site.
Quality Measurements
Acuity Hospital of Houston tracks data in multiple areas each month ranging from Infection Control, Patient Safety, Medication Administration, and Wound Improvements. The data is not only reported to the hospital leadership, but is also benchmarked against national industry standards.
Patient Satisfaction
Acuity Hospital of Houston currently tracks all patient surveys through the Administration Office. Upon discharge, each patient is provided with a hospital survey. The completed surveys are collected by your case manager or may be mailed via stamped and addressed envelope included with survey. Patients are asked to provide this feedback on the care they received during their hospital stay and their preparation for discharge. Each month the hospital reviews the survey results and patient comments for opportunities to improve the quality of care and our commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.
