  Randy E. Johnson, CEO
Randy arrived at Acuity Hospital of Houston with an impressive record of leadership success in the Long Term Acute Care field serving in roles of Executive Director and CEO over the last eighteen years. During his 9-year tenure at Kindred Hospital, he worked with Department Directors, various physician groups, and the community to expand patient volume, and servies and improve patient care. Randy's accomplishments are many; he has overseen major construction projects, improved services and operations, and achieved aggressive volume and financial goals. Randy is focusing the leadership during this phase of expansion at Acuity Hospital to ensure and enhance its reputation as the finest specialty hospital in Houston.
   Melissa Miller, BSN, RN, Chief Operating Officer
Melissa is the newest addition to the Administrative team.  She has been in the healthcare industry for over 20 years, including the last 8 years in Senior Level leadership positions in the LTAC industry. Melissa’s areas of expertise include achieving operational improvement, bringing about organizational turnaround, shaping team building strategies and executing quality performance improvement.  She is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas where she received a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. 
Dave Renneker, Chief Financial Officer
Dave is a seasoned professional with over 26 years of financial and operational expertise in the health care industry.  He is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio and began his career in health care working at a not-for-profit 344-bed medical facility in Ashland, Kentucky.  He enjoys working in this field because it affords him a new challenge every day.  He is a graduate of Morehead State University with a degree in Accounting.  His particular areas of expertise include realizing process improvements, enhancing supply chain operations and handling financial operational challenges daily.  He is married with a blended family of 6 children and 7 grandchildren.
Stephen M. Koch, MD, Medical Director and Physician-in-Residence.
Dr. Koch has served as Medical Director and Physician-in-Residence for Acuity Hospital of Houston since 2009.  Dr. Koch is board certified in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine and brings over 20 years of experience and leadership in his field.  He is a graduate of University of Arizona, College of Medicine, Tucson, Arizona, completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Maricopa Medical Center, Phoenix, Arizona, finished his fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas and finished a Certificate of Business Administration at the Executive Healthcare Training Institute at the University of Houston Clear Lake, Clear Lake, Texas.  Dr. Koch is an expert witness for the Harris County Court System, an avid editor and reviewer of abstracts for the Society of Critical Care Medicine Annual Meeting, and has published over 35 abstracts in fields of expertise.  He is also Adjunct Professor for the Department of Anesthesiology and Internal Medicine at the University of Houston Medical School in Houston, Texas.  Dr. Koch is married and has 3 children.
   Daniela M. Moran, MD, Medical Director of Critical Care Services
Dr. Moran has served as a pulmonary and critical care physician for Pulmonary and Critical Care Associates since 2006. Dr. Moran is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease and critical care medicine and brings nearly 11 years of experience and leadership in her field. She is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Tirgu-Mures, Romania, completed her residency in internal medicine at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut, and finished a fellowship in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine at the University of Texas in Houston, Texas.
